Understanding Each Other, One Conversation at a Time

Therapy for couples where one or both partners are neurodivergent — built around how you actually communicate, connect, and experience each other.

THE CHALLENGE

Loving someone doesn't always mean understanding how they experience the world.

When one or both partners are neurodivergent, whether that's ADHD, autism, or another way of processing, communication styles, sensory needs, emotional expression, and expectations can sometimes feel out of sync.

You may love each other deeply and still find yourselves having the same arguments, missing each other's cues, or wondering, “Ah! Why is this so hard when we love each other?”

That difference isn't a flaw in either partner or in the relationship. It's an opportunity to better understand how each of you experiences the world and to develop ways of communicating and connecting that actually work for both of you.

MY APPROACH

A relationship where both partners feel heard.

I work with couples navigating neurodivergent relationship dynamics with curiosity, empathy, and respect for the ways each person experiences the world. Together, we'll explore how you each experience communication, conflict, and connection,  and then build practical tools that fit your relationship—not a one-size-fits-all idea of what a relationship “should” look like.

Psychoeducation is an important part of my work. Understanding how neurodivergence can influence communication, emotional regulation, sensory experiences, and connection can help each partner better build empathy for themselves and each other.

This isn't about fixing anyone. It's about building a relationship where both partners feel seen and safe. Where your differences can be understood, appreciated, and celebrated.

Therapy That Fits Into Your Life

Comfort, flexibility, and fewer barriers to showing up.

Virtual therapy means you can participate from a space where you already feel comfortable and supported. Bring whatever helps you feel at ease, like your favorite blanket, sit in your usual sofa, or have your pet nearby (we love emotional support animals)!

There’s also no commute, waiting room, or uncomfortable office to navigate. With a reliable internet connection, you can join from home, work, or another private space that works for you.

And when life gets busy or keeping track of appointments is challenging, virtual therapy can make it easier to stay connected. With advance permission, I can send a text reminder, and you may be able to join from wherever you are rather than missing the entire session or having to rearrange your day.

Therapy should work with your life, not create another obstacle to it.
